Ministries

Find Community

We believe real growth happens in community. That's why we create spaces for you to connect, be supported, and make an impact.

At The Cov Chicago, our ministries are how we bring that to life. Whether you're looking to grow in your faith, care for your well-being, build meaningful relationships, or give back, there's an opportunity for you to get involved.

Grow in your faith through meaningful worship and practical teaching that connects to everyday life.

GriefShare support group

Grief doesn't follow a schedule, and healing doesn't happen in isolation. GriefShare is a compassionate recovery support group for anyone navigating the devastating weight of losing a loved one. You don't have to carry this alone, and you weren't meant to.

The Cov Care Team
The Cov Care Team

You are not a number here, and we mean that. The Cov Care Team is our pastoral care and community connection ministry, showing up for members who are sick or hospitalized, staying in relationship with new members, and making sure no one ever slips through the cracks. This is the heartbeat of how we love people well.

Holy Smokes Chicago gathering
Holy Smokes Chicago

Some of the best theology happens outside the walls of a church. Holy Smokes is our quarterly gathering where good cigars create the space for honest, unfiltered conversations about faith: deconstructing bad theology one draw at a time. Come ready to think, question, and exhale.

Chapter & Verse book club
Chapter & Verse

Books have a way of cracking open what we thought we already understood. Chapter & Verse is our monthly book club where we engage literature across genres and bring our whole selves to the conversation: our doubts, our discoveries, and everything in between. Come ready to read deeper and think wider.

The Garage Men's Ministry

Every man is a work in progress, and that's not a weakness, it's the work. The Garage is our quarterly men's ministry where brothers gather to get honest, get real, and get better. No performance required. Just men committed to doing the hard, necessary work of becoming.

Who's That Lady Chicago Women's Ministry

You were never meant to live a small, diminished, or apologetic life. Who's That Lady is our women's ministry, gathering quarterly online and in-person, to inspire every woman to step fully into who she is and who she's becoming. Bold, authentic, and unapologetically alive.

The 700 Club
The 700 Club

Financial freedom is a justice issue. The 700 Club exists because we believe every member of this community deserves the dignity and power that comes with financial literacy. We're on a mission to get you to a 700 credit score and beyond, because generational wealth starts with a decision.

The Justice League

Prophetic faith demands prophetic action. The Justice League is our coalition of grassroots partners: Rainbow PUSH, Chicago Votes, The Peoples Lobby, and Live Free Illinois, united around advocacy, education, and direct action. Because changing the world isn't optional, it's the assignment.
